This is a new service from MyLetter.jp, the overseas shipping specialist. We provide the Japanese address needed to join a domestic artist’s fan club, and handle the payment of annual membership fees for you, so everything goes smoothly.
How to use MyLetter
- Sign up for a MyLetter private mailbox on the web at Myletter.jp.
- Submit ID documents showing your home address (by email).
- Apply to join the fan club (please use your MyLetter second address as your registered address).
- We bill you for the fan club’s annual fee (we send a PayPal invoice email to the email address you applied with, or charge your credit card).
(We bill you at MyLetter.jp, then pay the annual fee to the fan club.)
Fan club payment handling fee: 550 yen, once a year.
Please send the name of the fan club you want to join (URL, bank transfer details, membership fee amount, etc.) to user support. - If you set your second address as the destination for fan club newsletters, tickets and so on, we send you an email when they arrive.
- You tell us the forwarding address, and our office ships the items. (For payments other than a bank transfer to Rakuten Bank, 10% is added plus a 550 yen transfer fee.)
- We also ship items you bought through online shops or auctions at low cost: send them to our office and we forward them by EMS international mail for 660 yen per shipment (Basic and Free Plans). With the Free Overseas Shipping Plan, we ship on your behalf for a separate charge.
If a fan club sends items in a security package, our office cannot receive them (because ID documents, a seal and so on are required). Please check with the fan club about its shipping service in advance. For items we cannot receive, please see this page. We cannot take responsibility for items that cannot be received.
