Twenty years from 2006 to 2026. A postal worker walks along the timeline while the AI node lights up.

Since we opened in 2006, twenty years have passed. More than 22,000 customers have used us, and we have built our own system along the way. We have now put that experience together with today’s AI, and renewed the service.

For about twenty years, we have done the same job

Mail and parcels arrive for you, we hold them, and we deliver them as you instruct. That is the work we have always done. We still do it every day at our three locations — Ginza, Osaka and Sendai.

Over these twenty years, the number of items we have held has passed 140,000. Some customers started an online shop, some moved abroad, some cannot show their home address for personal reasons. The reasons differ, but the wish is the same: I do not want to write my own address, and I want to receive things reliably.

Our system is entirely our own. Fully renewed in 2026

Registering an item, sending the arrival notice, taking your forwarding instruction, producing your statement — the system behind all of this is not an off-the-shelf product. We built it ourselves, fixing one thing at a time as we found problems in the actual work.

That is why we can turn a customer’s request straight into a feature. “I want to see a photo of the envelope before deciding whether to forward it.” “I do not want my family to know, so please send it to a post office for collection.” Several features exist because customers asked for them.

And in 2026, we added AI

We combined twenty years of records, and the detailed data we hold because the system is ours, with today’s AI.

Faster, more accurate registration

We read the sender, the addressee and the tracking number from a photo of the delivery slip. Less retyping means your arrival notice reaches you sooner.

Preventing the wrong addressee

Even with identical or similar names, we check against your past usage to work out whose item it is. When it cannot be decided, we keep holding the item until it is confirmed.

A clearer member page, “Mybox”

What state your item is in now, and what to do next — we have arranged the screen so you can see it at a glance. English display is supported.

Rebuilt on twenty years of running a live system

The system we had used for years was built on software that had become old, and could no longer be updated safely. There were failures that caused you trouble.

So we stopped patching it and rebuilt it from scratch. We completed the move to the new system in August 2026, and shut the old system down in September.

Twenty years of records have all been carried over. Member information, item history, forwarding records, statements — none of your past data is lost.

In the new system, even with AI, a person makes the final check. What is inside your item, your circumstances, the answer to your enquiry — we do not leave these to a machine. Twenty years of doing this work has taught us that this is what matters most.
