We have been receiving many requests about large cardboard boxes arriving from overseas online shops or from family and friends, such as “I want you to hold it for just one month until I return home (or arrive in Japan)” and “I want it forwarded after everything has arrived.”
So MyLetter.jp has started the “Large Parcel Storage Option”, available only for the Ginza address.
What the Large Parcel Storage Option Includes
- Available location: Ginza only
- Parcels we can hold: boxes with a total of three sides of up to 160 cm (160 size)
- Number we can hold: up to 3 boxes
- Storage period: up to 3 months
- Storage fees are counted per day, starting the day after your parcel arrives
- The shipping cost (actual cost) and forwarding fee when forwarding are charged separately

Fee examples (for 30 days of storage, option charges only)
- 1 box: 990 yen + 3,300 yen = 4,290 yen
- 2 boxes: 990 yen + 3,300 yen + 3,000 yen = 7,290 yen
- 3 boxes: 990 yen + 3,300 yen + 3,000 yen + 2,700 yen = 9,990 yen
*The monthly fee for your plan is charged in addition to this.
*Storage fees and the monthly option fee are billed together when your parcels are forwarded.
Examples of When It Helps
- You want to leave moving boxes sent from overseas until you find a new home in Japan
- You ordered several items from overseas online shops and want them all forwarded together, in Japan or abroad, once everything has arrived
- You want large parcels that arrive during a business trip or long journey held until you return
- Travel bags, golf bags and the like are accepted at the same fee. For other items, please consult us in advance.
How to Apply
- Current members: Please let us know through the inquiry form. We will add the option for you.
- New applicants: On the application screen for “Location, Box number and plan selection”, choose Ginza and tick “Add the Large Parcel Storage Option”.
If you also tell us the expected arrival date, the number of boxes, and when you want them forwarded, we can prepare for receiving them more smoothly.
