Who uses a MyLetter.jp address
You do not want to publish your home address
Online shop legal notices, business cards, invoices — running a business means writing your address again and again. A private mailbox lets you use a second address instead of your home.
You need a registered address for your company
This address can be used as the registered head office of a Japanese company. For start-ups and sole proprietors who do not want to rent an office, plans start at 4,980 yen per month, including consolidated repacking of the mail we receive for you.
You live outside Japan, or sell to Japan from abroad
Use it as your receiving address inside Japan. We forward what arrives to your address overseas by EMS and other services. If your forwarding address is outside Japan, there is a 0 yen per month plan.
You are dealing with stalking or domestic violence
If there are reasons you cannot let people know where you live, a second address helps. It also prevents information leaking through mail being read or taken from your mailbox. Please contact us if you cannot provide identification documents right away — we handle these cases individually.
From arrival to your hands
- Arrival — We email you as soon as your item arrives.
- Check — A photo of the envelope appears in your member page “Mybox”. You can see who sent it without opening it.
- Instruct — Choose forwarding, scanning, storage or disposal from your computer or phone.
- Receive — To your home in Japan or to an address overseas. You can register any forwarding address.
